'89 M5 where nearly all the leading edges were pitted and scored white from sandblasting, which is simething I wish to avoid... Back then 3M and chipgaurd was just being introduced.
Mercedes still can learn a lot from Lexus when it comes to customer satisfaction, its the small things that add up and make a big difference making Lexus #1 in customer satisfaction in the industry.
As for me, I'm still partial to German engineering, i.e. a vehicle built by drunk Germans, let me rephrase that a tad bit.....engineered by drunk Germans and built in America. Best of both worlds?
