Mercedes GL 320 CDI
bluetooth

I have a 2008 320 CDI and have paired my phone with the vehicle thru the bluetooth adapter. However, I am not getting all of the functions available. My phone is a Palm Treo 700w and my contact list does not upload to the vehicle when paired. The vehicle only shows my speed dial list uploaded from the phone but when I go to dial from the steering wheel or screen I get "call failed". If I dial directly from my phone everything connects. Anyone have a similar problem/solution?

Check this site; http://www.wireless4mb.com/

I don't know if the Treo 700w is a compatible model, but you can check there.

I have the treo 650. will pair but no phone book upload. it is not a approved phone with MB system. the best phones i saw is Motorola RZR V3 & V3i, which are well pared with MB phone system.

LG eNV (VX9900) pairs and can use both call lists (with some restrictions) and the phone book.

All Treos will only upload your "favorites" (speed dial). This is not exclusive to M-B, Treos do this with just about every Bluetooth® car kit.

thanks for the replies. I'll continue to use my Treo 700W with limited features. It's still better than wearing an earpiece.
