It took them less than 10 mins to replace the dipstick. They told me that the primary stick length was too short but wouldn't have affected the computer reading. I wouldn't miss work just for that.

The way it was explained to me is that this recall does not pertain to all 450's just certain manufacturing dates. At my last service they checked my VIN and said I was fine.
