I just saw a bunch of them in Vancouver last week. Quite frankly, I don't know how they do it up there. Living in Vancouver makes Denver seem down right cheap. For $1,200 sq. ft. you can have a nice little ground floor condo in a 20 story building. Can you imagine how much per sq. ft. it costs above the 10th floor?
I kid you not... we ate a great Chinese restaurant and directly across the street, just one block off of Robson street was a new condo building that had only 5 "estates" left in the building starting at $4.85M. Where I grew up an estate came with at least 100 acres and at the price of $4.85M you could own the whole darn town!

LOL!
On a related note, my niece is going to a casting call to play the part of Tinkerbell and/or any other princess sometime in August. Would be funny if she were working there when Brocktoon was there visiting!

We had a great view of the mountain from our backyard in Anaheim and would watch Tinkerbell descend on a regular basis.

Thanks Jack, she's wanted this for a long time but due to her health issues with her organ transplant, she hasn't been well enough. August 26 will be the one year anniversary of her transplant and she feels she's up to doing this job.

Just got back from Disney, thanks for all your advice. Although we had a very good time, and the parks were close to abandoned in terms of attendance, it was not really our cup of tea. My daughter said she would rather have gone to Mexico and played on the beach, I guess she's jaded beyond her years. I thought it was O.K., but we found it too loud (music, sound effects etc. seemed to be at 90dB+) and even though there were virtually no lines, it still did not prevent queue jumpers and pushing patrons everywhere we went.
Hotel was nice with a great pool, dined at Napa Rose & Yamabuki which were both very good, as was the Neopolitan pizza joint in downtown Disney.
Some TSA lady confused my girl's socks for shoes and went nuts on her and my wife, causing my daughter to go into a hystrical fit of fear prior to our flight, and now I have come down with some sort of foreign snotty kid's cold, which is all just icing on the cake...but hey, you never know 'till you try, right?

Sorry to hear that your trip wasn't all that great. We'll make it up to you if you bring the family down to Yosemite for the 2nd annual GL meet/greet next June. No beaches, but incredible scenery that I can only imagine in my mind.
Our family has been lucky over the years with Disney and we absolutely adore the theme parks. We've gone every year to Disney World since our daughter was 3, and last year we went to see Disneyland for the first time. At 9, she still loves it as much as me!
Don't get me wrong, we love the Mexican beaches too and we're looking forward to spring break in Punta Mita next year. But, for those of us with Princesses in the house, Disney takes the cake.

yeah, my girl wears a tiara camping, so I thought she would be more into it, but the only rides she liked were Autotopia, rode three times, Sun Wheel three times, Dumbo twice, but spent most of the time begging to go to the hotel pool. She found the parades too loud and scary, same with the shows.
She did eat her own order of salmon and quite a bit of my rare lamb at Napa Rose, so at least she has her priorities right....
