MP3 CDs -
As much as I would like to consider myself technologically savvy, I guess Mercedes has to ruin that feeling.
How do you get the GL to play more than or recognize more than just the first 99 songs on an MP3 CD?

The only way that I have to discovered it is to use the single in-dash CD Player (behind the COMAND screen) in 07 and 08 GLs. Hopefully, all CDs in 09s can read all MP3 songs on a CD.

iPod directions
Are there any printed iPod directions for the GL. The owners manual, once you get past the disclaimers, is worthless. There does not appear to be any functionality associated with the screen except for the AUX button that starts the iPod. Otherwise, one is left to try to decipher how the steering wheel buttons "control" the device. MB has taken a pretty good device control design, the iPod, and rendered it useless. What am I missing?

JMBT,
You should have received a separate operator's manual for the iPod integration kit when you received your GL. It is only about 12 pages in length. The part # is B6-782-4231 and the order # is S-4208-06A.
The manual will help you get a handle on the steering wheel controls. Because, you are right... the screen has no iPod functionality beyond the AUX button that you mention.
Good Luck!
