Wheel locks?

What are you guys and gals using for wheel locks? A pizza delivery guy spooked me the other day with the attention he paid to my wheels. After, I was chatting to a police buddy of mine and he said that most of the common locks only have a few 'keys' so the bad guys just buy them all and have a complete set. :scratch

Is there a better solution?

Cheers,

BV

I got the wheel locks from MB when I ordered the car. I assume they are made by McGuard or somebody else. I view the wheel locks like alarm systems, if someone has the choice between trying to steal something with and something without the choice will be easy. Nothing is going to be full proof.

True, and I subscribe to the same line of thought for the most part. That said, according to my LEO friend, this pizza joint is also owned by a guy running a couple of 'used car' lots, and is well-known to police You see where this is going, right?

If every jackass has the 6 or 8 or whatever 'keys' - if that bit of info is actually true - it's not much reassurance.

I wound up buying a set of wheel locks made by Gorilla Automotive Products from the Discount Tire store in my town. They had to order them and once they arrived, they installed them at no cost. At the same time, they installed new center caps (also free of charge) I bought elsewhere. If I remember correctly, the set of locks cost me around $30.00.
