09 Prcing - What are you getting?
Hello,
currently in the market for a 09 or 08 GL. What kind of pricing are people getting for the 09. I went to my local dealer and was offered 09 at invoice + 1500 and 08 at MSRP - 11K. Also offered lease rate at $849/36months/5K down. What do you think? I am in the NY area if anyone has a dealer that can get me a better price please let me know.

I've been dealing with this fellow Robert over at Rallye M-B in Roslyn. They had the best deal on 08 GL 550, seem willing to work it on the 09, so I'd assume they can do well on 450 or 320 if that's what you are after. His e-mail is :

- does the $780 include tax?
- how is the truck configured (P1, leather, metallic paint, etc.)?
- what is the truck's MSRP?
- is $5k total out of pocket or is it $5k down plus inception fees (title, tag, acquisition fee, etc.)?

The vehicle is configure with P1 & running boards (19in wheels and something else). The mrsp is $65.5K. The $5K out of pocket includes taxes, first month, bank fee. Basically, i pay 5K to start, pay 780 a month, drive for 36months and return the vehicle with 30K mikes. The residual is 57%.

So i finally got the 09 GL450 two weeks ago. Its black/black with P1, appearance, hitch. Gorgeous vehicle but got my first shock when i paid $99 to fill the tank..ouch!!!
Have to agree with everyone, the command system is really smooth; much better than i expected and integrates with all my gadgets.
Will post pictures soon. Thanks to everyone for your help; was very useful in negotiating the best price.

If it will help, I just paid $125 to fill up the tank in SoCal. So you are doing better then some.

6000$ first payment including dmw, tax, bank fee, first and last month.
I pay 930 a month for 450 GL with P1 and P2 packages. Appearance pack, rear seat entertainment.
Would you consider this a good deal? basically it is 930/month with no money down..
