Combination Filter DIY?

Time to do the Service B on a GL320.

Does anyone know where the combination filter (part number A 164 830 00 52, part of the ventilation system) is located and how hard it is to remove it?

Thanks.

Turns out this is a very easy replacement. The combination filter is part of the HVAC system, and is located behind the glovebox. Simply remove the four Torx 15 screws that hold the glovebox in place (do not remove the screw holding the latch), and pull the glovebox down. The filter box cover slides to one side and comes off. Then just reach in and replace the filters (there are two filters that sit side by side).

It will take 10 minutes at most to do.
