rear roof sunshade missing

rear roof sunshade missing
My 2008 GL450 have the rear panorama roof, but there is no sunshade as indicated in the owner manual. Is this an option or they forgot to install in the factory?

To the best of my knowledge the rear sunroof or whatever you want to call it with an attached sun shade is standard equipment. On mine there is a black plastic lip which faces the rear of the car which you slide forward to pull the shade out. It's probably one assembly so I would be surprised if it is missing.
