FUZZY SPEAKER PROBLEM???

Day 3, and I have fuzzy speakers. Doesn't matter if it's radio, satellite, or CD player. Speakers have fuzz. Anyone have an issue with this? this is only day 3

If the speakers have been overloaded even before you bought the car, the cone suspension could be damaged or the speech coils damaged

I guess. I bought it brand new with 6 miles on the odometer. It was working fine for the last 2 days, and we don't blast the music (can't be blown). Well, at least my salesman promised to come by with a loaner and pick up the car to make it right... just not a good feeling though..

My speech got fuzzy when large quantities of alcohol were poured into my body. Check your GL's alcohol level

Just kidding.

i agree with nish. your Gl must have gotten a batch of e85. It is now very happy Actually, sounds like blown speakers that might need to be replaced.

+1, I agree...Sounds like a blown speaker.

It's probably just a defective speaker from the factory, It should be replaced under factory warranty.

I had that issue once with my 08 GL 320. After shutting off and starting back up it cleared up. Happened several times with my 07 ML 320 also. Always cleared up after the next startup.
See if yours clears up the next time you drive it.
I think there are gremlins within.

Darn gremlins. You're right. It cleared up. What did you end up doing? You just let the gremlins be? Do they still stir up?

I had the same thing when new, went to the dealer with the problem in service driveway. Adviser started tapping around the passenger side roof and door area apparently where the fiber optics are located and it has been fine ever since. No other issues in 10,000 miles, love the car.

Did they have to open anything up? Where did they tap exactly?

No they opened the front door and tapped the top of the door frame. Static left now for 10000 miles, if that hadn't fixed the problem headliner was going to come down.

Hasn't happened but twice. I'll try the tapping thing if it happens again.

I have a GL550 and 2 door speakers and the front middle has been replaced. It is worse than ever! Any advice? I think it's electrical. It sounds tinney- front left and I have to fade to the rear with no sound up front.
