any new 2008 gl450's left on dealer lots?
buddy is looking to purchase a 2008 gl450 and would like to have at least the following options... premium 1, ipod, 19" wheel package, voice control, trailer hitch, and the dual dvd's.
ideally looking for the options above with color ideally being silver/black.
now i know he's going to have a hard time finding them, and he's willing to pick one up with more options as long as the have the above.
so does anyone know of any left over new 2008 gl450's?

yea, seems to be 2. the one he wants has 800 miles and the dealer isn't moving on the price.
car hasn't been registered, so the dealer considers it "new". but find it crazy they consider 800 miles to be acceptable. 200 he could accept... 800 no way.

If you ask me, and I know you didn't, but 800 miles on a 2008, which is probably heavily discounted, is a nit. At 12,000 miles a year, this is about 3 weeks of typical driving. It won't hurt resale in the least. Have them throw in a MB coffee mug or something and call it a deal.

well, for what its worth, last week a dealer in boston flatly refused $48k offer for '08 GL320 w/ MSRP $67k and demo 8500mi. w/ full warranty remaining.

I agree with Jim, 800 miles on an '08, never titled, is maybe worth a set of chrome valve caps or a baseball hat or something, but that is about it.

800 miles is nothing. if you want it. take it. i would not quibble over that amount of miles.

There are a few low mile '08's listed at 15k to 20k off MSRP on Ebay at this very moment. I picked my new '08 not quite 30 days ago for 25% off MSRP and members of this forum private messaged me about others at dealerships around the country that were offered up to 20k off MSRP. Unless they took away dealer incentives I am sure there is a zero mile new '08 somewhere in the US that will come 15k-20k off MSRP, and for $1000 or less you can have it delivered to your driveway. A little detective work, a few phone calls and a little help from forum members will pay off.

I'm currently looking to buy a 2008 GL450 and finding very few leftovers. And the ones that I have inquired about the dealers could only do 12K off MSRP. Most told me the incentives for the 08's are gone so that's the best they could do. Anyone know of any 08's that dealers are willing to discount more than 12K?
Thanks
