Any1 try getting 3 britax marathons across the 2nd row?

or can someone measure the lenght of the back seat (the part thats flat) where the car seats would fit?

I haven't, but measuring the length probably not a good way of doing this. I think you should just bring all three to the dealership. Even if the width worked, the childseats may not sit entirely straight because of how the seats contour.

I've had 2 britax marathons on each side and a booster in the middle. That definitely fits. I honestly doubt 3 marathons would fit straight across.

thnx...looking at pics of the second row it looks like the seat is pretty flat right up to the edge. I was hoping using 3 seatbelts instead of latch i could get the 2 outer seats right to the edge. In the Range rover the bolster doesnt allow for it.

Ricky - Check out these seats in the link below - sunshine radian 80. They have a very narrow footprint and you could definitely get three across on the GL. I have two Britax marathons also in the 2nd row and there's no way to fit a third in the middle. I bought the radian 80 for my 911 rear seat and it works like a charm because it has such a narrow base...plus you are not giving up anything in the safety side of things as these are very highly regarded and rated.

the car seats MB sells are britax, just called the 1800 MB number.
