or whatever is called the stick-on part that you attach to the top of the rear bumper to protect the surface when you slide in and out luggage... does anybody have the part number? is it an OEM piece or only aftermarket? sources?

If you are referring to the Chrome version, it is OEM, but it isn't exactly for protection. I would say it is more for looks. The plastic version that comes on 320's and 450's offer more protection. There was an old topic, probably nearly two years ago that had the part number as well as step-bystep installation instructions. Several of us did the installation. Seems like it cost around $200.
