dose any one know how to install Chrome Door Handle Shellsˇ on 07 GL 450 ?

The package should come with the instructions. lock the door, peel 3M on the back half way, slip in from the upper-right side of door handle while pulling the door handle out so that you have enough space for the shell to slip in, return the door handle back, adjust the postion and make sure it's in the middle, completely remove 3M...

anyone know if the chrome door inserts from formymercedes is the same material as the oem inserts?

Yes, they are OEM. I bought from them along with the Hood Aerowings which was high quality as well. The hood aerowings they sent to me actually came with two additional chrome caps for washer nozzles(not showing in their online photos).

interesting, so they come in oem mb boxes with part numbers and all?

Good point! I couldn't remember but very happy with the quality and fit. If you must get stock, part(6 688 1237) sells for $61.5 @ getmercedesparts.com.
