Rust Bucket
GL550 seat adjuster

Anyone have a problem with their leg brushing against the adjuster pod that sticks out from the front of the seat?

Thanks for any help.

I do. My calf keeps rubbing on that thing. I have the "thigh support" extended fully which helped a little but still rubs a bit. Poor location for this adjuster.

I don't think I'm fat, being 5'10", 160lbs. I also have chicken legs.

Not that you're short, but would moving your seat back or forward some change the position of your leg enough to keep you from brushing against it? I agree completely that it looks like a very stupid place to put the adjustments!

Unfortunately, the adjuster moves with the seat. I tend to, lazily, rest my knee against the side of the center console, so my calf rests right on top of the adjuster. It's no big deal. The Poster asked if anyone else had this problem, so I agreed.
