2020 G63, 2021 E450 All-Terrain Wagon
Car Keys
When I test drove a 2010 GL450 at my dealership, I noticed that it had a newer key design than my other 2008 S550. However, when I bought my GL350 BLUETEC, the keys that came with it were the 2009 design ones. Is there a reason why I received the older kind and not the new ones? Thanks for any input.

Yes, they have chrome key fobs, but I think there is a new design for the 2010 models. Does anyone have the key in the picture I attached to this post for their 2010 GL350? Thanks.

Yes, I just picked up my GL350 a week ago and that is the key I got. It's the key that is used with the Keyless Go system, which I think is part of one of the option packages. I got package 2, so I'm not sure whether it is part of Package 1 or 2.
