Extended Warraty
I think I'm ready to buy an extended warranty for my 07, GL450. Anyone has a suggestion/recommendation of a vendor. If anyone has bought the warranty recently, would you care to share your experience. How much realistically I should payfor the warranty with 38k miles on my vehicle?

I purchased a Chrysler Service contract on my GL450. I think it was around$2,400 for a 4 year unlimited mile warranty. I've hear really good things about the warranty from other Benz owners.

I have also heard good words about EasyCare, anyone has experience, how do I go about buying EasyCare and how much would it cost?

I was recommended by my MB mechanic (not affilated with a dealer) the one through Nissan..it is called StarMark. It is accepted at any MB dealer as well as any authorized MB repair center. Just google it, it pops right up. HTH!

I know you meant well, but it does not pop right up! Starmark is a name of MANY companies - first one up is a health care company. In fact most of what I found when googling it told me the company is a scam! Might not be, but googling Starmark is not the answer. I recommend you buy the extended plan available at your fav MB dealer. The warranty biz is full of hard to use plans. Your GL deserves better.

I currentlly have Mercury on my 2004 CLK and they have been excellent to work with. They already have paid for at least $4,000 of repairs with little hassle. Just make sure you read the exclusion paragraph to fully understand out front what is not covered. It sounds like the pricing is somewhat on the high side but it is tough to judge as your car is different from mine. For my other vehicle (2006 ML) I bought Fidelity as it was being sold by the MB dealer and the price for up to 5 years additional or max of 100,000 miles was only in the low $3000 range.
