Now just one GL450 with EORP.
Euro/US version offroad differences?

I've noticed the euro built versions have an extra row of controls where the dash cubby would be on the US version. There appears to be differential controls and shock settings, and a raise/lower knob. Does the US version have this, and is it in that case automatic?

Offroad package has been an available option on GL450 only.

In UK, for example, it's standard equipment and available on all models.

For every drivetrain combination there's a separate USA EPA certification procedure, and MBUSA (rightly I think) sees little liklihood of recovering this cost from USA purchasers.

So no diff locks or shock adjustment for US 320/350 customers? That's a very draconian EPA measure.

EPA didn't prevent anything.

MBUSA decided the expense wasn't worth it because not enough customers.

EVERY vehicle sold in USA has to pass same tests.

I have the raise/lower in my 320. Only use it to impress the kids!
