'07 450 - Radio off = No Nav, No Sat, No Backup Camera ?????
Hello to all,
I am new to the world of MB and still not used to the Functionality of the radio, nav, etc.
From what I can tell there is no way to turn off the radio and still have access to the Nav, backup camera, SAT radio, etc. Is that true? Or am I missing something.![nix](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/nixweiss.gif)
I drive a Lexus that I feel has a great user interface when it comes to the radio and nav so when I get in my wifes GL it drives me crazy at how difficult it is to use and figure stuff like this out.![Mad](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/mad.gif)
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You are right that the interface is one that only a diehard M-B aficionado would love. But to answer one of your questions; The MUTE button takes care of the radio (and sat radio) sound whenever you want without turning the whole thing off with the PWR button. The mute functions separately [push on - push off] for the NAV voice instructions (same with the volume control for each of these). To make the NAV speak so you can adjust/mute that sound only, press RPT button and it will repeat the last instruction.
