'07 450 - Radio off = No Nav, No Sat, No Backup Camera ?????
Hello to all,
I am new to the world of MB and still not used to the Functionality of the radio, nav, etc.
From what I can tell there is no way to turn off the radio and still have access to the Nav, backup camera, SAT radio, etc. Is that true? Or am I missing something.
I drive a Lexus that I feel has a great user interface when it comes to the radio and nav so when I get in my wifes GL it drives me crazy at how difficult it is to use and figure stuff like this out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

You are right that the interface is one that only a diehard M-B aficionado would love. But to answer one of your questions; The MUTE button takes care of the radio (and sat radio) sound whenever you want without turning the whole thing off with the PWR button. The mute functions separately [push on - push off] for the NAV voice instructions (same with the volume control for each of these). To make the NAV speak so you can adjust/mute that sound only, press RPT button and it will repeat the last instruction.
