is there something wrong with 2007 GL?
I am in the market for another 3-row vehicle to replace my E wagon. I found there are a lot of 2007 GLs on autotrader and cars dot com.
I know it is the first year vehicle but the flipping rate is a little too high.
What 'ya think?

MB: C320 (2005) and '07 GL 450; Porsche: 911SC (1979), 997S (2006).
'07 GL's
MB made a lot of changes (some improvements, others not, in my opinion) to the '09 and '10 models. More features and options (such as heated rear seats, redesigned rear entertainment system, new COMMAND unit, etc.) and I believe many people are upgrading from the '07's. Another factor is that some common leases (three years) are probably coming to an end now.

If money is not matter get 09 Gl550 which have techology upgrade . I was thinking about 08 GL550 after I searched on autotrader I decided on 09 GL550 fully loaded 24K miles for $65K .

My Father-in-law had a 2007 GL450.
He hated it with a passion. The wind-noise was horrible, and the Nav Interface sucked. He got rid of it, and now has an '09 450, which he likes much better. The nav on an '08 is probably not much better than an 07. (It looks the same to me) And I have not a clue if the wind issue was fixed, or is less noticable on an 08. For a few grand more, you can get a car that you will be more satisfied with, less miles, less issues = One Happy Camper.

Jim's right about the noise from the crossbars and Kent's right about the economy and people bailing on SUV's right now. As they say, one person's loss is another's gain so I would think a 2007 GL is a great way to go at the pricing they are at right now. I really have had not any issues with mine and at this point if you are looking at a 2007 GL the issues should be resolved.

however, the 07 gl320 cdi are very rare and hold their prices very very nicely due to lack of urea filters and also better equipment for the money.
