My coolant light is on in our 07 GL450. Is this the pink or green coolant?

Anyone? I looked at the resevoir and can't see any fluid. Also, I see no high or low mark on the resevoir. Am I missing it?

My '09 has the pink/red coolant. I didn't see the high-low mark either. There is a ridge that I filled mine too as my coolant light came on as well. In the back of your owners manual there is the coolant spec's.

Pink/ red coolant??? It's neither pink/ red or green. You need to use MB spec coolant from the dealer or aftermarket equivalent.

You should be using Zerex G05 only for later model MBs. It protects the aluminium parts of the cooling system. I use a 50/50 mix with distilled water as i live in Chicago and change it every 3 years in all my cars.
