Last year we were going to purchase a 2009 GL450 during the July 2009 $10,000 incentive from MB but as fate would have it, I waited too long and supply fell short. This year I am wondering if MB is going to have the same incentive as last year for the 2010 GL450's? Any ideas? If so, I will be waiting at the dealers door on July 1st with cash in hand.

I suggest you think of things done a year ago as emergency measures.

Benz is significantly reducing market incentives in 2010...read an article online the other day.

They don't have the need to move GL's in the same way - they have started to burn through inventories and have reduced production...this equals a lesser bargain for the consumer, or you.

People always wait for the possibility of a better option and end up losing out.

Went into the dealer for an oil change on my GL, and asked about the incentive. He said that they are in fact having the same incentive as last year.

I doubt it. I just put an order to build a GL450 at dealer. He showed me the netstar system, which showed only a handful of cars scheduled to be build in the factory over the next few months. According to dealer, the big incentive last year was because they build too much. The production number of Gl450 are much less this year.
