Special lights for GL450
I am new to GL450 so I may be asking something obvious.
I am looking to get my rear lights customized to have the special somewhat darker burgundy look (not sure how to describe it). You see these on a number of customized MBs.
Can my local MB dealer do this for me? How much will it cost me?
Thanks!

It seems that some people find them tacky; I personally just like the way they look.
Where would I get those? Will my local MB dealer be able to order them or do I have to go through one of those specialty shops that caters to people that do all kinds of crazy modifications to their vehicles?
Thanks!

You don't have to buy a whole new light.
They have films that you put over your tail light to get the smoked looks. I actually think that's what it is. They are removable I think. So if you think they look tacky, you could take them off. I have no clue where to buy them, but you should be able to find some on the internet.

I see, thanks!
Are all of these customized tail lights simply stickers? I see a number of different type of modified tail lights, some are darker and some look almost completely white.
Again, I that know some people may say that these look tacky but I like a slightly modified look to give the car a bit more character.
Thanks!

Yea, pretty much they're just stickers. There probably is actual lights, but the sticker would be cheaper I think. And yes, there is a wide variety of different shades you can choose from.
Take a look at this thread :

The person blacking out his GL has smoked tail lights.
I have no clue where to buy them from, you should ask him in a PM.
