Can I burn Navigation DVD and play in the navigation for a 2007 GL, any thoughts?

I have an 07 GL and my Navigation DVD works in my frieneds' 07 GL which didn't come with the NAV DVD. I want to copy my original navigation DVD and want to play in his GL. I have tried several different format but no luck yet.

Use DVD Decrypter to create an ISO file from the original disk. Then use the same program to burn this ISO file to a blank DVD (you will need dual-layer DVD). Make sure that you burn on a slower speed. This will work -- I have it in my GL

I was actually at the dealer last week and I asked my service advisor if he had some used Navigation DVDs. Apparently he had a whole pile of them from trade-ins and lease returns and I ended up getting a 2008 disc. Try asking a service advisor if he has a disc if you don't want to go illegal.
