Look under "Financing"

Click on the box that says "Details"

And the details are on there explaining the rate breakdown.
My dealer is asking for documentation of this deal thru email. Supposedly they think this deal is not for the gl. They're probably trying to sell me Higher finance deal to keep moore money out of the deal.

Is there a place this is listed on Mercedes's website? http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/special_offers/current Shows they only have a lease special but do mention the .9 - 1.9% special under other models but not the GL. But several members on the forums have mentioned they did get .9% on their new GL. Somebody help???

Edmunds publishes their information directly from the manufacturer. Show them Edmunds site. If they refuse; walk away and find another dealer.

The same information is also listed in the auto leasing and financing forum on www.roadfly.com.

HELP! Ok my GL350 comes in tommorrow! As I expected, my salesman said he looked it up and cant find it available for the GL. He said he'll show me the mercedes finance screen tommorrow when it comes in. Is there any documentation or anything you guys know of that is actually from Mercedes? Why is it not shown on Mercedes's website, yet this offer is shown for other vehicles?

Not every offer MB has is advertised on their website. Plus some are regional programs that aren't available nationwide.

As I don't work for MB; I have no way of looking into the system.

Did I miss the boat on the Diesel Tax Credit?

Officially, the $1800 Tax Credit on purchase of a 2011 Bluetec Expired on Dec 31, 2010.

http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/taxLeanburn.shtml

Anyone out there know if they might extend this?

You can only deduct the credit for the 2010 tax year anyway. If you made the purchase in 2011 it wouldn't be available for your 2010 taxes anyway. No one knows what will happen later this year re the tax deductions for the 2011 tax year.

Is this tax credit still available for MY 2011 GL350? The dealership said it would be tonight, but just double checking. Thanks!

Sorry I know this is old thread but I hope if someone can an update if 2011 GL350 is still good for 2011 alternative lean-burn vehicle tax credit or not.

I purchased mine on 1/29/2011 (took a month since I ordered it) and I think irs still shows it is available unless i'm misunderstanding their table since Mercedes GL350 is still listed there without any notes though.

I was looking to buy a GL350 back in late 2010. I didn't end up buying it.

At the time I thought the program ended at the end of calendar year 2010 (which of course could have been a 2011 model). I was under the opinion I needed to purchase (leases don't qualify) by 12/31/2010 to qualify.

Don't consider me the expert, but I think you won't get a credit for vehicles purchased in 2011, and I'm not aware of any current credits.

Yes, I believe it's still available. I claimed the credit for my 2011, anyway (purchased 2/11).

This is the page I was looking at when I thought it ended.

http://www.irs.gov/businesses/corpor...203912,00.html

Here's a link for 2011 rules:

Mark, please don't take offense, I'm not trying to prove you wrong, just providing information I found when I was looking to buy. It's availability was a pretty important part of my purchase decision.

Thanks for the info. I found this list of qualifying vehicles which says "Page Last Reviewed or Updated: January 23, 2012," so it must be current.

I just banged the info into my TurboTax return, and it produced an $1,800 tax credit for my 2011 GL350!

Oh, no worries. I'd be interested in updated info, too.

That's what I thought... and it currently shows as updated 2/10/11 and GL350 is listed there.

Guys who took the deduction in 2011. I think that is only available as a tax credit if you are filing as a business. Notice the Business tab on the top of the IRS page?

I just did my taxes two weeks ago and it worked for me no business. I guess the person that looked it up did it under business but the form is for individuals too.

Shucks! I forgot to add my 2011 purchase in my tax...and have already filed my tax!
The thought occurred to me to check for credit, but I had checked it last year and remembered that it ended in 2010... didnt check for updated info..

I guess I cannot do anything now, right?
