I think there was another thread about AMG brakes, but there was no resolution to the question. The primary issue was whether the brakes would physically fit. I have seen Brembos on a GL - do a search, and I'm sure it'll pop up.

Cheers! I beleive I've seen Brembo myself, just wondering if AMG has something to upgrade standard brakes...

If anyone does this please post your experience. I found the stock brakes to be nothing short of amazing so far. Those 14.4 inch rotors seem to stop the truck pretty quick compared to most other vehicles of that size i have driven.

Yes I agree, I have some nice back roads close by and I sometimes push the gl and have never experienced any brake fade. The only reason I might consider a upgrade would be for the look, and I'm sure there would be a performance gain as well.
