The original bluetooth puck won't work with my palm pre and suggestions or options. Did Mercedes plan or expect cell phones to evolve? Funny how bluetooth headsets work with all cell phones,yet my expensive vehicle failed in that department.

My 07 with BT puck worked just fine when I had my Pre Plus. MB's always been a little ... "funny" ... about their compatability when it comes to BT. But remember that in Europe, they don't do that. In most cases, you take your SIM card out, slip it in to a slot in the radio, and use the hands-free that way. Not sure if that's the whole reason, but possibly.

Also, when it comes to headsets, they don't dial the phone, receive caller ID, download the phone book, that kind of thing. They just answer and act like the mic and speaker.
