Adding Ipod kit to 07 GL with RSE
I have searched and read all the posts pertaining to this, but still can not find the answer.
The dealer of course told me that it would work no problem, but now that I have purchased it and installed it, it doesn't work and they don't seem to know why either.
It came in a kit and has the new aass wire harness as well as the new ipod amplifier.
It recognizes the ipod and shows the info in the instrument cluster but no sound.
From what I have read here it should work like this: ipod plugged in and in AUX mode I should hear ipod music but the RSE will not play through the rear speakers. If I unplug the ipod the RSE will play through the rear speakers and I will not be able to hear the ipod music.
Anyone have any ideas?
