Runflat GY Eagle LS vs. Bridgestone Dueler LH400

Folks -

I have a 2009 GL320 w/ factory 275/50 R20 GY Eages LS 2 runflats.
I have 30K on my truck, ready for 3 new ones (one was replaced about
2 months ago).

Anyway - cost from GY per tire is appx 520.00 each (installed), vs. the
bridgestone at costco for 250.00 installed. Both are runflats.

Can someone tell me if the Bridgestones are now OEM on some of the
GL's??? Anyone had experience w/ both? And yes i did see a thread on
these tires but was hoping for some recent, additional info.

Thanks,

Aceman

Tire Rack designates the Bridgestone as Mercedes extended runflat. You probably shouldn't mix brands on the same axle.

Our 2011 came with the bridgestones. So far so good. Very quiet tires. We had some light featuring at 3000 miles but that was diagnosed as alignment issue.

Also, took it to the snow and performed well in icy conditions. Probably not as well as our X5 with 17" tires but acceptable for such wide tires.

I can't image paying 500+ per tire for GYs!
