Wife had a small accident with the 08 GL450 that required a new passenger headlight. While the body shop did a good job with the repair (install and bumber repair) I am not happy with the angle of the headlght. The passenger headlight is now shining way off to the right. I know there is a screw for the height adjustment but does anyone know of a side-to-side adjustment? I need to angle the passenger light toward the front of the car.

Called my service manager who said the height and angle are controlled by the computer. I don't believe that 100%.

The screws are adjustable from the top of the lights. Open the hood and look down and through the holes in the crossmember you will see the screws.

It's all covered by WIS document AP82.10-P-8260GS, "Check and correct headlamp adjustment."

Take your car to a Mercedes dealer, as adjustment is all accomplished via connection of STAR DIAGNOSTIC system.
