Well, my shakes aren't completely gone afterall. I may have to find another guy to try and rebalance my wheels. You seem to have one of the best experiences here even with 22" wheels. What is your exact setup? What wheels and tires?

Wheels could be fine but the tires may not be true or one is out of round.

I took all the precautions. Hubcentric, hunter roadforce, even had one tire replaced because it was sub par. My tire balancer is blaming the tires.

I'm running 22" Lorenzo Forged wheels with Nitto NT420S 305/40. The Nitto's are loud as hell below 60 MPH but are fine at higher speeds. They have great grip and very little wear even after 40,000 miles. They will probably last another 20,000+ but I'm not sure I can put up with the noise that much longer.

My wheels balanced perfectly with tires not from Tire Rack but from hte tire dealer that balanced my wheels. They balanced really easily with very little weight required. Definitely use a hunter roadforce balancer.

Thanks! I've dealt with Detail King before. I'd like the thicker spokes of the 22s but as a 20 (for winter). Gotta keep searching I suppose... perhaps ML 63 21" replicas.

Yeah I remember seeing pics of your E coupe with the rims from DK while I was browsing through the C207 forum. Sweet looking coupe btw . Ebay has a bunch of 20" ML63 replicas for your winter setup.

They look like 305 40 22's.

My question is can you use the OEM lug nuts with these wheels? I am planning on ordering a set and want to make sure I have all my bases covered.
