White GL owners - how's your paint holding up?
I was giving the car a wash and wax yesterday when I noticed, particularly on the rear hatch of the car, there are these rough black little specks all over the paint. I was able to get some of it out with a compound, but still pretty bad. Pictures wouldn't pick it up. Anyone else with this issue? Should I make a warranty claim?

+1 on the clay bar. Go to meguiars.com and you should be able to find a video of proper usage. Meguiars bug and tar remover might also do the trick. It even removes the little rust stains on the running boards that show up from the salt brine.

The clay bar will remove that road grime and road tar, I am sure you probably also noticed little rusty speckles as well, this is common as the particles from the brake compounds attach themselves to the white paint and they turn into little rust spots, this also is removed with the clay bar, but you will have to use some elbow grease. I have owned numerous white trucks and this is always the pain of owning a white car, but when you are done with the clay bar and you have added a wax the car looks awesome.
