Guys need help.
I have 2007 GL450 with 10K millage on it. I really like the new look of GL 2011. So i was thinking what is possible to do to make it look fresh? I was about to get Brabus kit but its was 60K which i can't pay for car kit. Any other ideas? i really liked new LED lights is it possible to install them on old GL ? if yes how?

LED light conversion has been done here (at least the tails) but produce an error message. I believe that can be resolved with a resistor of some sort (search around). You can also replace your entire front bumper with the 2011 but I haven't seen anyone here do the full conversion yet.

This is the Kit I want to get:
http://www.branew.us/mercedes-benz/x164-gl_class.html
Much cleaner than the Lorinser and the Carlsson. The Brabus is still better but getting a body kit that's more expensive than some brand new cars is not really my cup of tea.. Especially when the stock GL body looks good as is already (IMO)
Its not very clear how to buy this though, since it seems to only be available in Japan...

I just did a LED conversion for a buddy of mine that the 2 lights up front on each side (fog and DRL) I used the DRL wires, ordered new plugs, the chrome trim, led's, and plastic filler panel... recoded the front SAMs for LED's.... was silly stupid easy and took all of about an hour... I had to add pins for the plug on the LED's so that takes me a bit

It was in Yen when I saw a site that had it for sale - the site was in Japanese, so it wasn't very clear to me (I lost the link - just google "x164 branew"). But the prices next to those roughly convert to around 1500 for the front, and the same range for the rear..
