LED DRL question

hello just wondering if anybody with the lighting package on there gl could tell me if there's a way to keep the drl on day and night, I got a 2011 gl450 and I just upgraded to the led drl and they seem to be functioning good even though mercedes dealer told me it was impossible for the installation. I just saw an S550 at night and noticed there headlights and drl on which makes the car look way better any help would be great

I would like to put those on my 2010 gl350 any tips? I think there about 450.00 and I heard if you put on the resistors you need no program. So do they only stay on with out the headlights then go off when the headlights go on?

My wife's GL350 came with factory lighting package and from day one the DRL dims when the headlight is on. My E350 Coupe also came with the bi-xenon lighting package but the DRL was off as soon as the headlight was on. Took it back to the dealer and they updated some coding and it nows works the same way as the GL.

So I think you will need to do some codes update, provided your installation is identical to the factory DRL.

2003CL500, could you post some pictures and where you got the led drls? I got my GL from the dealer about a year ago, and i got every package accept the lighting package, the dealer 'forgot' to add it, so i got an 1,200k extra taken off for that mistake. I really would greatly appreciate if you could give me some info on this installation.

Thanks!
