11 GL350 BT | 11 E350 Estate

If you no longer need the 3rd row then it makes sense to go with the new ML which I think is pretty good looking, especially the gorgeous new interior. Once my two kids are out of car seats and walk on their two feet without stroller then I'll go back to 2-row SUV's as well. And no, I don't think you are "downgrading" to the new ML.

2008 E320 Bluetec

The Bluetec engine in the 2012 ML has more horsepower/torque than the earlier years, so that should be another incentive.

How many miles do you have on your GL?
