Trailer Hitch Question
I have the 2010 GL 450. And when I'm towing my 2 jet ski's, whenever i go over a pot hole or bump, i hear a loud noise from the trailer hitch. When i tow with my truck, its quiet. And i know for a fact its not the trailer, beucase i towed my cousins single jetkski also, just to see if theres a difference. There was no difference. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks..

Look for areas with work paint or coatings, too. That would show rubbing.
Are you using the right size receiver for the hitch? Is the ball the right size for the trailer?

The hitch probably isnt tight in the reciever. My GMC is that way because it has a 21/2 reciever and uses an adapter. There are ways to keep it from doing that such as http://www.roadmasterinc.com/product...tch/quiet.html
