Copper Zeon LTS 285-50-20
Trying this set of Copper Zeon LTS for first time on GL450. This is my 3rd set of tires on GL(including factory tires). Usually tires on benz will wear inside first. Lets see how these on turns out. Here is link to this product. I know they will be loud. If wear turns out to be even, I can overlook the road noise.

I currently have them on now and they were very loud towards the end. First half life of tires was really good but now too noisy and worn from inside. I got 30K out of them and they were relatively cheaper than many other brand back then. now they are 50 buck more per tire than last time I bought them 3 years ago.

Hi,
Just checking in to ask a few questions regarding the zeon LTZ's...
How are they doing? Treadwear? Noise? Any noticeable change in Fuel consumption?
Also, with the wider size, any scrubbing?
I hope they're doing well, coz Im really keen to buy some for mine... sick of highway tyres getting slippery in the paddocks.
Cheers

Never had them on a GL, but did previously use them on my Dodge work truck. Zeon LTZ are excellent all terrains that lasted me about 50k, but did have a pretty firm ride. Now running the Hankook Dynapro ATM, and they are ever bit as capable as the Coopers, but with a much softer ride and slightly lower rolling resistance.
Though I'm sure either would improve the ride over the Bridgestone Runflats on my GL...

Thanks mate.
I was worried they'd rub! And I cant be bothered raising it. Looks like I'll just have to stick with the factory 275-50-20's which are really expensive in New Zealand.
Tundra sounds like fun!
Cheers.

I like Zeon LTZ so far on the GL. Treadwear is even, I did not even get the alignment done. They are little noisy than highway tire but not as loud as my 35" Toyo open country mud terrian tires on my Tundra . So far I got about 14K miles out of it and still going. Fuel economy suffered slightly but not bad. I still get 17+mpg on the highway. I had to change the air ride links and lift the GL by 1" inch to avoid rubbing. This tire is little bigger than the factory. Speedometer will be little off. I am no longer running the factory 18" rims. I have aftermarket 20" rims and offset (I dont know). I hope this helps.

I have changed the album setting to where the pictures are linked to. Let me know if it works now.
