New GL450 Owner How to's?
I am wondering how to operate the wipers on my headlights,do they automatically trigger when I use the windshield wipers?
Separately, anyone had an Orange Check Engine light to pop up on the instrument cluster? Brand new friggin car and the thing already has a Check Engine-cost to much money for that!

On my 2007 GL450 the check engine light came on after the smog tech didn't screw the gas cap on all the way.

The headlights don't have wipers per se, but they do have jets that spray fluid on the headlamps. When your headlights are on, when you spray your windshield, they should spray too.
The check engine light should be yellow, right? If it doesn't go off, you need to bring it to MB or have someone hook up a computer to read the code.
Did you buy a brand new 2010? Old stock? Wonder if that somehow plays into the check engine light.

It was a program car, about 7500K miles on it,excellent condition. I have no idea and I hate to drive back out to the dealership but as a precaution that may be the best advice. I've several schools on thoughts, some say drive it and see if it goes off..Not sure folks. I'll take it in. How do you turn the heat on in here?
