Are '07 TPMS compatible with '10 TPMS?

Are '07 TPMS compatible with '10 TPMS?
I traded in my '07 black GL450 this week and got a '10 silver GL450. Some of you may have seen the 22" wheels that a posted awhile back in the spring - and I had this great idea of keeping them and putting them on the new car. But I've noticed in the newer GL450, the PSI on each 4 corners is actually being read while in my '07 it was not like that.
Before I spend the time putting the tires on and trying it out, I thought I'd put a question out there for any folks who may have dealt with this.
If they are not compatible, I'm probably going to put them up for sale (if anyone is interested please PM me) as I do not want to purchase a whole other set of monitors/mount/balance seeing that I just have put new Michelin Latitude HP tires on the wheels!!!

I'm not quite understanding why you wouldn't just take them to a tire shop and have them swapped out from the 12 to the 07 wheels. Those are some nice wheels you have there and will look great on that low maintenance silver 12

I could have them swap out the tpms in the stock wheel I have on the '10 - I just wanted to have 2 sets of complete wheels so I can swap them out in the winter time.
I did some more research online and found that they swapped them in '10 for a different brand of TPMS. Funny thing is that they are cheaper than the ones I have in there for the '07!
