Why does my brake light keep on burning?
What would cause my brake light (not the middle one )keep on burning?

It is a German car. They all do that. Burning bulbs is one of the special german cars' traits.

Sounds like you have the parking lights on. Turn the headlight switch to "AUTO".

GL 320cdi, Chevrolet Avalanchero, GLE 350 (on order)
when you replace the bulbs, make sure they have conductive grease on the contacts. It will help prevent early failure.
