siri through bluetooth
I finally paired by new 4S and was delighted to find out that SIRI works flawless through bluetooth. Would be awesome if MB could integrate SIRI with the navigation unit.

I have Siri navigation and MotionX navigation displaying on my screen NOW, so it is possible. It would just be nice if there were a recess in the dash to drop the phone into that had a plastic insert (ala iPod docks) - but that would be a logistics nightmare for future phone redesigns, cases, etc

How do you have MotionX displaying on the navigation screen. I hate my MB command system. Would kill to switch it to something that works via my phone

I have our Video In Motion module that gives 3 video inputs (one for backup camera if used). I have the iPod Composite Video cable plugged into the iPhone and it puts video to the module (all hidden) which is displayed on the COMAND. I can also watch videos from the iPhone too if desired.

Siri is audio only (it has no video output component yet at least), so it has no impact on the COMAND screen at all. Depending on the bluetooth system, you can hold the off hook button on the car, or of course the home button on the phone.

I have a 2007 and have the last model blue tooth module bought off ebay. I can hook my iPhone 4 up just fine. Press the button on the module and have the iphone set up to pair. When they find each other type in MBUSA (letters correspond to phone numbers) on the iphone and it should come right up. I've been quite pleased with it, well, my wife has since it's her vehicle.

I'm not sure and with MB who knows. They like to take the simplest stuff and make it difficult. I would imagine it would be the same but please don't hold me to it.

Interesting. My wife ended up really frustrated because Siri does come through the car audio but there seems to be a delay in the system or something because Siri won't "listen" long enough to hear the command as it goes through the system. Then Siri ultimately hangs up!
Maybe this is a phone programming issue? Is there an adjustment to teh time that Siri will "listen"? Anybody else have this issue?
