Picked up 2009 GL 450
4 my wife. 35k miles. And now I kicking myself cause I think/realize that it doesn't have hid. I didn't pay much attention and assumed it had it cause of the projectors. I figured the halogens looked...well like halogens like for my CLK. Can anyone clue me in on how to tell for sure - like the fact that there's no high voltage wires, or the light doesn't have a sharp cutoff..just a blurred cutoff? If not I'll pull out the bulbs when I get a chance. Some not so great pics. Other than the hid issue, I think it looks pretty damn good.

Another question: So is the projector suitable for a HID conversion? I don't want a lot of light noise. I can't tell from some of the posted pics if the light is focused the way an HID proejctor should be or if it's as if someone crammed an HID kit in a halogen assembly.,

I added HID's to my prior GLK that i owned. Cost me 100 bucks and i installed them myself. The halogens dont look luxurious to me at all so i added 6k's to the headlights and foglights. If you also want to change parking lights, interior, and licenseplate lights you can go to IJDMTOY.COM
