I just purchased a 2012 GL350 and noticed on the door molding there are spots which appear to be from water spots but also look brown.
What is the metallic trim on the door moldings? Is it chrome or stainless steel?
What is the best solution to clean the trim without scratching?

I answered my own question after research and found Lucas Metal Cleaner does an awesome job on all trims whether chrome or stainless steel. Easy to use and simple.
This product removed all spots and discoloration and is a must have for a sparkling car or SUV..
