GL450/GL550 Retrofit illumination running board light installation (West Los Angeles)
I just got my car back from my mechanic yestereday and wanted to share some info that he shared with me. For those of you that are near the West Los Angeles area, my mechanic told me that they have performed this retrofit on several GL 450 / GL550's.
If you've been contemplating getting this done, but nobody has been able to do it for you, and you're in the L.A. area (or even if you're not and you want to get it done), you can contact my mechanic here:

I've been going to George ever since my w203 was out of warranty 3 years ago. His lead tech, Chris, is a former tech from MB Beverly Hills and a very knowledgable guy as well.

Anyhow, I was mainly posting this for information. If you want more info on it, you can call them. I was just giving people an option, for those that wanted to get it done. If you don't want to get it done...hey, that's your fail!...LOL.
Why would I post part numbers when I don't even have a GL? I just trust my mechanic and he's done it on quite a few GL's already. I've been around too long to deal with useless replies like this one. This was primarily informational that my mechanic can get it done locally for those in LA. You don't like the information, move on, but I think my reputation on this forum is enough to know that I have no reason to BS.
