Media Interface Always Plays
hello All,
I have a 2012 GL550 with Media Interface. I like it except that every time I start the vehicle, the Media Interface starts up and plays no matter what was playing (satellite / FM Radio / CD) when I killed power. This is kind if annoying for my wife who was listening her light rock satellite channel then, suddenly she's hearing the latest RUSH CD on my iPod.
Is there any way to make Command just startup the last mode that was playing before with media interface attached?
I have not updated firmware....

I have the same problem with the ML350CDI. Dealer does not understand or want to understand. They reset the computer and suggested it may go away, but of course it did not.

sounds par for the course - What year model is your ML?
I wonder if there is a firmware upgrade for the media interface and how do we go about downloading and installing....

August 2009. By the way mine only reverts to media every 2nd or 3rd time. Not when it arrives at the dealers of course.

There is actually a software upgrade out, try downloading that and see what happens. I have the MIP in my C63 without any issues. I can't explain why this phenomena is happening on the ML and GL. Have you contacted MBUSA, for technical support, I would really start there for resolution.

I have the software from when I did my update. But for the life on me, I can't seem to be able to find it on MBUSA website. send me a PM with your email address, and I can forward it to you, until I figure out a way to post it.
