Different exhaust tips on a GL?

Not a big fan of the stock square/rectangular rolled-edge tips on our '09 Bluetec, and would like to swap to something a little different. The GL550 tips are nice, but very pricey (if even obtainable without mufflers) and perhaps not fitting of a v6 diesel. Was thinking of trying something that would take up more of the bumper cutouts, without looking overly aggressive. Maybe some rectangular or oval turndowns? Larger rectangular tips w/o rolled edges? Any other ideas?

Please post pics of any different mufflers/tips you guys have used or seen on a GL.

Shaft2k upgraded his tips to double circle ones.

I like the 550 tips, and yes you can order them without the muffler. Been mulling over it for awhile but haven't pulled the trigger. I looked ujp the price and they're not too bad.

U sure about that? Everything I've found online says the gl550/ml edition 10 tips can only be had with new mufflers. Trying to pull up part #'s for the tips yield the stock 320/450 tips, despite being listed for the 550. Where did u find them? How much?

07-09 tips are the same between 550's, and between 320/350/450 models. They all changed to bumper-mounted vents for unconnected exhaust pipes starting in '10 on the GL. So if you really are talking about the '09 tips, please post your findings.

I know all that. I thought you wanted 2010. if you want the 09 which i was thinking about, I went to a dealer and gave them a vin# from a 09 550. I took it off eBay. They gave me the part number and price. I think it was 2 something each. I declined to order at that time though. Don't know what I did with the part number cause it was 6 months ago, but I'm sure you can do the same.
