Problem with tires cupping
I have a cupping problem with my tires. They are Goodyear Fortera SL's. Anyway, have a problem with them cupping on the inside edge of 3 out of 4 tires.
Any ideas on the cause? I know the usual cause is bad struts. Could the GL's struts be going bad internally? They struts do not leak any air when sitting.

They developed the cupping around 25,000 miles. The tires are rated at 60,000 miles.
From everything I've read, the cause is pointing toward the struts since the wheels were always in balance. At least, never felt even the slightest bit of vibration until the tires started cupping.
Could the struts be causing the issue? Maybe they are not absorbing the bumps in the road thus causing the tire to bounce a bit going down the road. The car drives straight and does not exibit any suspension or alignment issues. Just stumped at this point as to the cause.
