Rear seat entertainment screen will not come on.
Hello,

The rear entertainment screen on my GL450 2008 model will not come on. It is flat dead. It has always worked, but suddenly went dead. The on/off button does not turn it on nor does the remote. Is there a separate switch or something that could have tripped this off, or is this a fuse/electrical issue?

Any thoughts?

2012 GL550, 2012 E550
Sounds like a wiring connection. Did you make sure batteries are not dead in the remote? The remote is the only way I can turn them on in my 12 GL550.

Thanks. It is definitely not the remote as it was working ok even before i bought the replacement remote.

Fuses?

Get out the multimeter and check all fuses.

Can a bad SAM cause this as well ?
Recently purchased new controller works on other GL450 except mine

which fuse controls the rear dvd monitors ?
