How to replace drivers door handle - anyone?
So i bought a new handle from getmercedesparts dot com, and i'm not 100% certain how to replace it.
Anyone have any info on this? I bought the entire handle assembly w/ the keyless go button/harness (short little whip). Was hoping i wouldn't have to take the door panel off but not sure there is any other way to do it...
Any help is appreciated,
thx

No need to take the door panel off.
Look at the latch side of the door- there is a hole covered with a rubber plug. Remove the plug and look inside. You will figure out the rest

Alx -
Thanks for the help. I had tunnel vision when i was looking at the latch side of the door thinking the reflector must come off for access. I didn't even think that black plug would be of any use. Anyway - i took it out, saw the torx head. No the problem is i don't have a torx bit set in a long screw driver style (when i add it to my drill set the barrel is too thick).
Anyway - off to the auto store tomorrow to get one on a screw driver. If you know what size it is please let me know (looks like a 20 or 25).
thx

door handle with keyless-go button - A1647600370 / 9960
question: how to disassemble door handle?
I've got a problem with that button - it's pushing but not clicking, so no result at locking doors (all others buttons on door handles are working fine).

however, the failure you describe is usually due to the rubber membrane on the button (inside) being ripped resulting in no contact (and no clicking feel) when pressed. so... even if you open up the lock you will find that the button is almost impossible to fix.
let us know if you find otherwise

yes, i'm interested in diasassemble handle (let's have fun! ), but i'd like to get prepare-information - from what side it's better to do it that i wouldn't break any clips/connectors/....
so, maybe someone knows - handle is disassembelling? or the only way to pull out button is to pluck it out?
p.s. sorry for my bad engl.

I found on ebay a handle with a lot of photos and one of them is interesting - see below.
So, there's a screws! and so - it can be disassembled, right?
